A prescribed fire project will begin today on the Lakeview Ranger District of the Fremont-Winema National Forest, during favorable weather and air conditions. Smoke is predicted to drift south and may be visible from Lakeview.

Lakeview Ranger District: Burnt Willow/Unit 5 – 500 acres, located six miles EAST of Lakeview in the South Warner area.
