Update Ana Fire July 14 2017

Fire Containment Containment: 90%

Although fire management officials expect 100 percent containment by the end of shift today, smoke from large woody debris, posing no threat to containment lines, may still be seen within the fire area.

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the fire area due to dry and unstable conditions, which will support extreme fire behavior and rapid rates of spread to any new or uncontrolled wildfires. Despite the red flag warning, fire officials expect little to no increase in fire activity on the Ana Fire. A slight chance of thunderstorms on Saturday could lead to new fire starts.

The fire will be transitioning from the Northwest Incident Management Team 12 back to the

local area tomorrow at 10:00 am.
